Part number and configurationReels for construction machinery
For a replacement or new configuration on construction machinery, start with the part number, tool circuit and installation. Compare four-hose families, other numbers of lines and combined hose and cable reels, then check the travel and overall dimensions.

Compare families and configurations

S4 — four separate hoses
S4 reel: four separate hydraulic hoses, 40 l/min, 12 sizes and 1,1 to 22 m usable length. Diameters 1/4″ to 1/2″, specific 4SP lengths.

A4.19 — four lines, high flow rate
A4.19 four-line reel, 80 l/min, 5/8″ or 3/4″. Up to 15 m usable length depending on hose; separate /R versions in 4SP for sizes 700 and 800.

A4/E — four lines and cable
A4/E: 4 hydraulic hoses and one electrical cable. Diameter, usable length, conductors and mounting depend on the part number; identification on request.

AG.19 — two lines in a twin hose
AG.19 reel: two lines in a twin hose, 80 l/min, 5/8″ B3 or 3/4″ HDH. Ten sizes and up to 27,5 m usable length depending on configuration.

A2 — two separate hoses
A2 Standard reel: two separate hoses, 40 l/min, 12 sizes and 1,1 to 22 m usable length. Specific 4SP lengths, right-hand or left-hand model.

A1.25 — one line, high flow rate
A1.25 single-hose reel, 135 l/min. Six sizes, diameters 1/2″ to 1″ and 9 to 49 m usable length depending on configuration. Separate 2SC/T2, 4SP and 4SH tables.

All part numbers by configuration
| Configuration | Go to the family | To check |
|---|---|---|
| Four hoses | Compare circuits, diameters and capacities for the part number. | |
| Four hoses and cable | Specify the hydraulic section and electrical contacts. | |
| Two hoses | Families to compare for the flow requirements concerned. | |
| Two separate hoses | Specify the diameters and circuit for each line. | |
| One hose | For a single line to be sized. |
Identify the reel to replace
Send a photograph of the nameplate, mountings, outlet direction and hose markings. Identify retained components and any desired differences from the current equipment.
A replacement is selected after checking the circuit and installation specifications.
Data to include with the enquiry
See the information to record
Part number and quantity
Legible nameplate, machine and tool models; quantity to replace.
Travel
Actual travel of the hose/cable assembly and end positions.
Hydraulics
Number of lines, flow rate, pressure, hose type and diameter, fittings.
Installation and environment
Hole centres, available width and diameter, outlet direction, guides and temperatures.
Specify installation and use
See the information to record
Existing hose
Photograph the outer-cover markings and specify the fluid, temperatures and exposures. The hose-type guide helps identify construction without assuming equivalence.
Location
Include a view of the mounting, guards and space around the drum.
Operating conditions
Specify splashes, dust, temperatures, cycle rate and hose/cable assembly movements.
Additional points to check
The bend radius must be checked with the selected hose, drum and the guides or pulleys of the installation. It cannot be inferred from a general comparison between materials.
Rotation at the end of a boom may also require identification of a rotary union from the HD series. Vertical downward travel or another special configuration must be stated with the part number and installation diagram.
Prepare your enquiry
For a replacement, start with a legible photograph of the nameplate and a view of the installation. Add the information available below; identify anything still to be confirmed.
- Part number and legible photograph of the nameplate.
- Machine, tool or attachment concerned.
- Photographs of mountings, fittings and routing.
- Travel, number of lines, diameters, flow rate and pressure.
- Cable, signal, rotation and special requirements, where applicable.
