Part number and configurationReels for forklift masts
Looking for the reel fitted to a mast or a configuration for a carriage attachment? The nameplate part number and installation photographs are the starting point. Compare four-hose, two-hose and combined versions against the actual travel of the hose/cable assembly and available space.

Families to compare
Replace the reel only
Compare the hose/cable assembly and mounting of the existing equipment.
Identify a complete kit
Reel, hose, guides and fittings: go to hydraulic, combined hose and cable, and cable kits.

A4 Compact — four lines in twin hoses
A4 Compact reel: four lines in two 1/4″ twin hoses, 25 l/min. Five sizes and 1,9 to 5,7 m usable length, right-hand or left-hand models.

| Configuration | Family | Comparison points |
|---|---|---|
| Four hoses | Overall dimensions, travel, diameters and circuit. | |
| Two separate assemblies | Dual-spring configuration and movements to specify. | |
| Two hoses | Compact and Standard versions; check capacities by part number. | |
| Hoses and cable | /E combined reels | Hydraulic and electrical specifications. |
Identify the existing installation
Include a photograph of the nameplate, an overall view of the mast and close-ups of mountings, fittings and guides. Forklift brand complements this information but is not enough to establish equivalence.
Travel and cycle rate
Specify the mast type, actual travel of the hose/cable assembly and operating cycle rate.
Available space
Record the diameter, width, hole centres and outlet direction.
Circuits
State the number of hoses and their specifications, as well as any electrical contacts.
If the part number sought is an S1 single-spiral reel, start from its product page and nameplate rather than a general comparison of winding methods.
Hydraulic and electrical configurations
For a combined hose and cable reel, specify both the hydraulic circuit and the contacts, voltages, currents and signals to transmit.
The AG/E is a two-hose family with cable. Check capacity and overall dimensions against the proposed part number; adding cable is not assumed to have no effect on the configuration.
Checks before a proposal
See the information to record
Travel and outlet direction
Distinguish lift height from the travel of the hose/cable assembly. Include a photograph showing the outlet direction of the current equipment.
Guidance
Identify the guides and pulleys to retain, their positions and dimensions.
Hose and fittings
Photograph markings and fittings. The hose and cable data is used to compare the exact configuration.
Classified zone
If this applies to your installation, send the specifications and documents for the existing equipment. See the ATEX page to prepare this specific enquiry.
Parts or documentation enquiry
See the information to record
For a maintenance enquiry, state the reel part number and the part concerned, with photographs. The applicable instructions are those for this part number and configuration; inspection intervals and adjustments are not defined by this page.
Prepare your enquiry
For a replacement, start with a legible photograph of the nameplate and a view of the installation. Add the information available below; identify anything still to be confirmed.
- Photograph of the nameplate and required part number.
- Mast type, lift height and travel of the hose/cable assembly.
- Number of lines, diameter, flow rate, pressure and fittings.
- Mountings, overall dimensions, outlet direction and guides.
- Electrical contacts or signals, cycle rate and ambient conditions.
