The S3 Standard is a spring-return reel for three separate hydraulic hoses. Its 12 sizes offer 1.1 to 22 m usable length depending on the part number and hose, with a maximum flow rate of 40 l/min. 4SP versions have their own lengths.
S3D denotes the right-hand model and S3S the left-hand model. Suffix XX denotes B1, T2, B3 or 4SP depending on the row; specify the circuits and travel to be replaced.
/VD.Dimensions in millimetres and weights without hoses. The drawing shows 3 × 3/8″ or 3 × 1/2″ and a flange with Ø 11 mm holes, 60 mm square centres and 80 mm overall size. PDF/STEP drawings on request.

Example: S3D700.12 offers 14.5 m usable length with B1/T2/B3, compared with 12.1 m with 4SP. S3D400.12 and S3D420.12 have 3.3 m and 3.1 m usable length respectively: do not apply A2 or S4 lengths to them.
The permissible pressure of the supplied assembly must respect the limits of the reel, hose and connections. Specify the fluid, its temperature, the flow rate and working pressure to validate the equipped part number; the pressure rating of the reel alone does not guarantee that of every hose combination.
TU1 catalogue reference data: pressure ratings of the hose alone, in bar. These values are not the guaranteed pressure rating of the equipped reel. The final configuration must respect the limits of all its components; the table below does not establish that every combination is available in every size.

To replace a reel, send the full part number and a photograph of the nameplate, mounting details, right/left-hand version, working position, fittings and usable length. Request the manual for the exact version before installation or servicing.
The A3 uses a triplex hose assembly and has its own capacities. Compare the number and construction of the hoses, diameter and mounting; a common pressure or number of lines is not enough to validate a replacement. See the DEMAC technical catalogues.
