Selection guideSingle-hose reels
Replacing a reel or equipping a machine? Compare S1, S1 Compact, M1 and A1.25 for one hose, according to the winding type, cycle rate and available space.

Choose a family
The winding method distinguishes the single-spiral families from the multi-spiral M1. Then check the travel, diameter and bracket for the part number.
S1 Single Spiral
Single-spiral winding in one layer; for a hydraulic line with a high cycle rate.
View part numbers
S1 Compact
Single-spiral winding; compact format where space is limited.
View part numbers
M1 Multi Spiral
Multi-spiral winding in several layers; more compact for the same length, for moderate cycle rates.
View part numbers
A1.25
Single-spiral winding; a family to compare for very long travel or large diameters.

On a small screen, scroll the table horizontally if necessary.
| Your situation | Family | What it offers |
|---|---|---|
| Standard requirement, high cycle rate | Single-spiral, twelve sizes, up to 18 m, from 5/16″ to 1″. Flow rate up to 135 l/min in 1″. | |
| Smallest possible overall size | The smallest in the catalogue, 11 kg, up to 5,8 m. | |
| Limited space, moderate cycle rate | Multi-spiral, up to 26 m. | |
| Very long travel or large diameter | Up to 49 m and 135 l/min. The longest in the catalogue. | |
| Workstation, manual unwinding | Workshop series | A different approach: locking latch, wall mounting. See the workshop range. |
Compare winding methods
Identify the winding method of the existing reel and compare it with the cycle rate, usable length and available space.
On a small screen, scroll the table horizontally if necessary.
| Method | Family | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Single-spiral — one layer, in one plane | The hose does not rub against itself. Ages better at high cycle rates. Wider drum. | |
| Multi-spiral — several layers | More compact for the same length. The hose stacks up and rubs against itself. |
State the cycle frequency and hose routing. The choice of single-spiral or multi-spiral winding must be checked against hose construction, travel and the dimensions of the part number.
Diameters and lengths to check
Large diameters on the S1. The family includes 3/4″ and 1″, with up to 135 l/min in 1″. Check the diameter available for the selected size.
Hose construction changes the available length. On the S1 with a 570 mm flange, the listed 3/4″ values are 5,4 m usable length for 4SP compared with 4,8 m for standard hoses. Compare the row for the exact construction.
800, 900 and 1 000 mm flanges are available on request in 3/4″ and 1″. Diameters and usable lengths must be checked for each large size offered on request.
