The S4 Standard is a spring-return reel for four separate hydraulic hoses. Twelve sizes offer 1.1 to 22 m usable length, with a maximum flow rate of 40 l/min. Hose type and diameter determine the travel as well as some reel dimensions.
S4D: right-hand model; S4S: left-hand. In S4D470.12.XX, .12 denotes 1/2″ and XX the hose type to be validated.
/VD.Dimensions in millimetres and weights without hoses. Where A and B have two values, the second applies to 1/2″. The drawing shows 4 × 3/8″ and a flange with Ø 11 mm holes, 60 mm square centres and 80 mm overall size.

Example: S4D700.12 has 14.5 m usable length with B1/T2/B3, compared with 12.1 m with 4SP. Specify hose type, fittings and the characteristics of each circuit; explicitly request “without hoses” for a bare version.
The permissible pressure of the supplied assembly must respect the limits of the reel, hose and connections. Specify the fluid, its temperature, the flow rate and working pressure to validate the equipped part number; the pressure rating of the reel alone does not guarantee that of every hose combination.
TU1 catalogue reference data: pressure ratings of the hose alone, in bar. These values are not the guaranteed pressure rating of the equipped reel. The final configuration must respect the limits of all its components; the table below does not establish that every combination is available in every size.

To replace a reel, send the full part number and a photograph of the nameplate, mounting details, right/left-hand version, working position, fittings and usable length. Request the manual for the exact version before installation or servicing.
The A4 Standard uses two twin hoses and its detailed pages specify 30 l/min, 15 sizes and up to 37 m usable length; the S4 offers four separate hoses and 40 l/min.
