Accessories according to routing
These accessories perform different functions. The table numbers are reading references: they do not prescribe fitting all four parts or a universal installation order.

Check installation and compatibility
Guide position
Photograph the assembly outlet and its routing throughout its travel. Report any rubbing marks on the drum sides or hose so the guidance can be examined.
Check alignment, distance and outlet angles according to the installation specified for the part number.
A pulley imposes a radius on the hose wrapped around it
The radius around the pulley must respect that of the selected hose. Compare the usable pulley dimensions and the minimum radius specified for the exact hose construction.
The groove width and effective diameter must be checked together, with the shape of the single or twin assembly. Record these dimensions on the existing part.
Hose stop compatibility and position
Observe the usable travel and stop setting specified in the reel instructions. The stop and guide must be compatible with the assembly.
Order based on the actual outer diameter and hose shape, not just its nominal diameter in inches. Also check the stop’s fixing method.
Read an articulated-guide part number
On the CDL Crocodile, the series number is not always the number of lines : CDL 200 = four lines; CDL 300 = three lines; CDL 500 = five lines; CDL 600 = six lines. Complete this guide with the hose diameter and full part number.
Lances and guns
Compare the lances and guns for workshop reels according to required pressure, flow rate, fluid and connections.
The stated combinations include 200 bar at 30 l/min and 40 bar at 170 l/min. Choose the part number compatible with both operating conditions, without combining the maximum values of different models.
Pulling grips
To identify a pulling grip, record its part number, diameter range, length and end type. Specify the cable or hose concerned and pulling conditions.
Do not confuse grip strength with permissible cable load. The specifications of the CLZ pulling grip and the vertical cable must be examined together.
Breaking load is not a pulling instruction. Have the component manufacturers confirm the permissible load and installation conditions.
What to send for a quotation
- For a replacement: full part number, photograph of the nameplate and views of the existing installation.
- Number of lines and actual outer diameter of the assembly.
- Single or twin hoses, and both dimensions in the latter case.
- Minimum bend radius of the selected hose.
- Distance between the reel and guide point.
- For a lance: available pressure and flow rate, and type of work.
- For a pulling grip: cable part number and diameter, pulling length and permissible load specified by the manufacturer.
