Several hydraulic families offer an ATEX configuration on request. Start with the number of hoses and the usable length to define your requirements.

ATEX certification for your custom-built reel
A custom-built reel, spring-driven or motorised, can incorporate ATEX certification defined for your application. A project may include a specific length, overall size, hose/cable configuration or drive. Working with DEMAC, we define the technical solution and possible certification based on your specifications.
Reel and drive
Hoses or cable, usable length and installation position. For spring return or motor drive, specify the movement, speed and expected operation.
Your ATEX environment
The zone concerned, gases or dusts, temperatures and documentation requirements for your installation.
Replacing a reel in an ATEX zone?
Send the full part number and a legible photograph of the nameplate. If available, include the instructions, declaration of conformity and a view of the installation. We can then identify the configuration to replace and check the specifications to retain.
Cannot find the part number? A photograph of the equipment, its dimensions and the available information about your installation allow us to start the assessment.
Certification and documents to arrange
The zone, substances present and operating conditions determine the requirements to be met. The proposed configuration, its marking and the conformity documents must be confirmed before ordering. For a motorised reel, this check covers the entire configuration supplied, not just the motor.
